Mark Coure, Member for Oatley is encouraging all St George residents to have their say on which new projects they would like to see in their community.
Voting is now open for local residents to consider which projects they would like funded as part of the NSW Government’s My Community Project program.
Residents can vote for between three and five projects by using their Medicare card and MyServiceNSW account, which provides quick access to a wide range of NSW Government services, such as the CTP Green Slip refund and the Energy Switch program.
“My Community Project is an innovative and exciting program that will transform our local area and create better spaces and programs for our local community to enjoy,” Mr Coure said.
“Voting allows community members to consider which projects will provide the most benefit to their local area and weigh in on their top picks for projects.”
“You can vote by using your MyServiceNSW account and Medicare card, or pop in to Service NSW Centre and have their friendly staff assist you to choose your favourite projects.”
“This is a great example of real grassroots democracy in action, the Government is putting the power back into the community’s hands by allowing them to have their say on what they want to see in their local area.”
Voting for My Community Project is now open and closes 15 August 2019 with successful projects to be announced from September 2019.
